The Chicago area is known for pizza! Thin crust pizza, stuffed pizza, thick crust pizza, and deep dish pizza can all be found in the city. One of the top options for deep-dish pizza is Lou Malnati’s.

If you have never had a deep-dish pizza before, be prepared to wait a bit. It usually takes around 40 minutes to get it to your table piping hot. While you’re waiting, you may want to indulge in Lou’s bruschetta, calamari, or homemade minestrone soup.

When ordering your pizza, you will have a choice of butter crust or regular crust. Opt for the butter crust; it is flaky and delicious. The pizza will come full of gooey cheese and your favorite toppings. Lou Malnati’s has been a local favorite for many years.

At Seasons 52, they pride themselves on serving the freshest, farm-to-table seasonal fruits and produce.

You can start with one of their many choices of flatbread, ahi tuna tartare, or one of the fabulous crab cakes. Be careful because the appetizers come in very large portions! You shouldn’t pass up the soups either, especially the mushroom or lobster bisques.

Here, the cooking methods take the main stage with dishes that are wood grilled, cedar planked, or cooked in a brick oven. No matter what you order, your dish will come out perfectly. Some that are especially good include the wood-grilled Kona-crusted lamb loin and the grilled sea scallops.

Freshness is the top priority and you can tell with anything you order.
