birch is just off the corner of Empire & Washington Streets, directly across from Trinity Repertory Company. The Providence Performing Arts Center, the Dunkin' Donuts Center and the Rhode Island Convention Center are all within walking distance.
From I-95 North
- Signs for New London/Providence
- Take exit 21 toward Broadway
- Turn right onto Broadway
- Turn right to stay on Broadway
- Slight right onto Empire Street
- Take the 2nd left onto Washington Street
- We are located on the right at 200 Washington Street
From I-95 South
- Take exit 21 for Atwells Avenue
- Merge onto Service Road
- Turn left onto Washington Street
- We are located on the right at 200 Washington Street
PARKING
Metered parking is available on the street and is free after 6:00 pm and on Sundays.
Parking is also available in the The Biltmore Garage (51 Washington Street) , located within walking distance of birch restaurant.
In the event of a parking ban for the city of Providence, we will validate parking in the lot at 357 Westminster Street, on the corner of Westminster and Snow Street. You pay the flat rate to park when you arrive (usually $10), let them know you're going to birch, and upon your return get your money back with proof of validation.
